The MuiGrate molded grating trench cover is 25 mm FRP (fibreglass) molded grating cut to the width and length of your drain or trench, for clear spans up to about 600 mm. Choose square mesh (MG 25-38), minimesh (MG 25-20) for small wheels and heels, or long mesh (MG 25-100) for fast drainage.

Covers are cut at our Port Klang factory to ±5 mm, are light to lift for cleaning and do not rust. For drains without a concrete recess, send us a photo and sizes and we suggest a fixing.

Questions and Answers

Which mesh should I choose?
Square 38 x 38 mm for general use, 20 x 20 mm minimesh where heels, trolleys or small items must not drop through, and 25 x 100 mm long mesh for the fastest drainage.

How wide a drain can it cover?
25 mm grating suits clear spans up to about 600 mm. For wider drains choose 30 or 38 mm grating.

How long should each piece be?
Keep pieces to 1.5 m or shorter so they lift out easily for cleaning.

Can vehicles drive on it?
No. MuiGrate FRP grating is designed for pedestrian traffic only, as BS 4592 sets out, not for cars, lorries or forklifts.
