Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat for Waterproofing (Full Roll)

Fiberglass chopped strand mat (CSM) is a sheet of short E-glass fibres held together with a powder binder. Laid into waterproofing resin, it reinforces a liquid-applied waterproofing layer on roofs, walls and other concrete surfaces. It is sometimes sold as fiberglass mesh or fiberglass net, but it is a chopped strand mat, not a woven mesh. This page is for the full roll of 1,860 mm x 96 m, which covers about 179 m² per ply. For smaller jobs, buy the 10 kg pack.

How to use it

Prepare: work on a clean, dry surface, and not in rain.
Mix: mix the waterproofing resin with its hardener in a plastic pail. Never let water into the resin.
Lay: brush resin onto the surface, lay the mat into the wet resin and brush on more resin until the mat is wetted through, working out trapped air.
Repeat: add further plies the same way if needed, then let it dry.

Caution: fiberglass can make your skin itch. Cover your arms and wear gloves when you handle it.
