FRP Square Tank with Pyramid Base - Compact Primary Clarifier
An FRP square open-top tank over a pyramid-shaped bottom. Solids settle into the point and leave through one outlet, which makes it a compact primary clarifier or settling tank for wastewater and sewage treatment plants. In Malay it is often searched as tangki penjernih FRP.

Resin Selection
- GP (orthophthalic polyester): for water and mild, non-aggressive liquids.
- ISO (isophthalic polyester): a premium polyester with good chemical resistance.
- Vinyl ester: for severe corrosion, including strong acids and alkalis. For solvents, tell us the chemical and we will confirm.
- Hybrid: vinyl ester inside for chemical resistance, GP outside for economy.
Laminate Strength
Test results for the GP laminate used in our Mui Tank range: 103.0 MPa tensile strength (limit 70 min), 182.4 MPa bending strength (limit 100 min) and 0.15% water absorption (limit 1.0 max). Chemical-grade laminate data is available on request.
Installation
- Sit the tank, or its stand, on a level concrete plinth at least 250 mm (10 in) above ground.
- Lift only when empty, using the lifting lugs.
- Support every connecting pipe and valve on its own footing.
