The FB 76.2 x 12.7 is a pultruded fiberglass (FRP) flat bar: width 76.2 mm (3 in); thickness 12.7 mm (1/2 in). It is a thick, narrow bar in 1/2 inch thickness. It is made in Malaysia by Hexagon MF Composite Sdn Bhd, Mui Fatt's pultrusion sister company, in isophthalic polyester resin with a surface veil, in RAL 7035 light grey, and supplied by Mui Fatt.

Material and Features

Choosing This Size
Twice the thickness of the 6.35 mm bar, the 3 inch x 1/2 inch bar is used where a strip must take bolt loads or act as a packer, spacer or bearing strip under other members.

It is stiffer and holds bolts better, so it suits packers, bearing strips and loaded plates.
