The FB 101.6 x 6.35 is a pultruded fiberglass (FRP) flat bar: width 101.6 mm (4 in); thickness 6.35 mm (1/4 in). It is a general-purpose 4 inch strip. It is made in Malaysia by Hexagon MF Composite Sdn Bhd, Mui Fatt's pultrusion sister company, in isophthalic polyester resin with a surface veil, in RAL 7035 light grey, and supplied by Mui Fatt.

Yes. Cut and drill it with standard power tools, then seal the cut edges with resin.
4 in bar in 6.35 mm or 12.7 mm?
The 12.7 mm (FB 101.6 x 12.7) is twice as thick for heavier plates and bolted joints; 6.35 mm is lighter.
What length can I order?

Is a fire-retardant version available?
Yes. Profiles in fire-retardant resin to ASTM E84 are made on request. Vinyl ester resin is also available on request for stronger chemicals.
