FRP First Flush Tank 250 L for Rainwater Harvesting
The FRP-FF-250 is a 250 litre (55 imperial gallon) fiberglass first flush tank for rainwater harvesting systems. When rain starts, the first water off the roof carries dust, leaves, bird droppings and sediment. This tank fills with that dirty water first, so the cleaner rain that follows flows on to your storage tank. It suits roofs up to about 250 m².
Ringkasan: Tangki first flush fiberglass (FRP) 250 liter (55 gelen) untuk sistem penuaian air hujan. Tangki ini menampung air hujan pertama yang paling kotor dari bumbung, supaya air yang lebih bersih masuk ke tangki simpanan. Sesuai untuk bumbung sehingga kira-kira 250 m².
Key Features
- One-piece FRP body: seamless fiberglass shell, 3 to 4 mm thick, with internal support and external ribs.
- Bolted top cover: fixed with M10 hot-dip galvanised bolts and sealant; lift it off to clean inside.
- Flush outlet and drip drain: a DN50 flush outlet with ball valve washes out sediment, and a 20 mm drip drain empties the tank slowly after rain, ready for the next storm.
- Same make as Mui Tank: made by Y.T. Fibreglass Industries Sdn Bhd with the same FRP materials and process as our SIRIM-certified Mui Tank cold water tanks.

Questions About This Tank
What does a first flush tank do?
It catches the first, dirtiest rainwater off the roof. Once it is full, the water level rises in the pipe and the rest of the rain flows past it to the storage tank.
Which size do I need?
Allow about 1 litre of first flush for each m² of roof, which is the first 1 mm of rain. For dusty sites, roofs under trees or industrial areas, allow about 2 litres per m². For larger roofs we build custom sizes, including rectangular and round tanks.
What comes with the tank?
The tank comes with its bolted cover, a PVC DN50 inlet, a PVC DN50 flush outlet with ball valve, a 20 mm drip drain and a small vent. Other pipe sizes (for example DN100), tees, brackets and the piping between the downpipe and the tanks are quoted separately.
Is the first flush tank SIRIM certified?
There is no Malaysian standard for first flush tanks, so there is no separate product certificate. The tank is made with the same FRP materials and process as our SIRIM-certified Mui Tank cold water tanks.
Which storage tank goes with it?
Any Mui Fatt water storage tank. See our Fiberglass Mui Tank range → or LLDPE water tanks →
Berapa harga tangki first flush 250 liter?
Harga bergantung kepada saiz, kuantiti, saiz paip dan lokasi penghantaran. Hubungi Mui Fatt untuk sebut harga terkini.
Note on units: All gallons on this page are imperial (UK) gallons. 1 m³ = 1,000 litres = 220 imperial gallons.
