The MuiGrate FRP bar screen is a screen made from pultruded FRP (fibreglass) bars that sits in the inlet channel of a sewage or wastewater treatment plant to catch rags, plastics and large solids before the pumps and tanks. Each screen is made to your channel width, depth and bar gap.
Sewage gases and chemicals corrode steel screens. FRP does not rust, so the screen keeps its shape and bar gap, and it is light enough to lift out for cleaning.
