Mui Fatt open top PE water tanks are the classic house roof tank (tangki air rumah), with a removable cover for easy cleaning. They come in two shapes: BUMI round tanks → from 50 to 600 gallons and SEGI square and rectangular tanks → from 30 to 400 gallons. Each tank is rotomoulded in one piece from food-grade LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) by Mui Fatt Industries Sdn Bhd, SIRIM certified and registered with SPAN to MS 1225-1:2014, with an 8-year outdoor and 10-year indoor warranty. What is the difference between BUMI and SEGI?
BUMI tanks are round, from 50 to 600 gallons. SEGI tanks are square or rectangular with rounded corners, from 30 to 400 gallons, and fit tight roof spaces and ceilings better.
What do the letters A, B, C, S, N, D and E mean?
They mark special-size versions of a standard model, with the same capacity but a different footprint or height, for spaces where the standard size does not fit.
