Orthophthalic resin, known as GP (general purpose) resin, is the unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) used for most everyday fiberglass laminating. Choose GP orthophthalic resin for water and non-aggressive conditions. Choose isophthalic ISO resin → where better chemical and water resistance is needed. For aggressive chemicals, ask us about vinyl ester.
