Isophthalic resin, or ISO resin, is a premium grade of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR). It gives fiberglass laminates better chemical and water resistance than general purpose orthophthalic resin, so it is chosen for tanks, marine parts and other FRP that will meet water and chemicals for years. When to Choose ISO Resin
Use ISO resin where GP is not enough but full vinyl ester is not needed: for example tank linings, wet process equipment and marine laminates. For strong acids, alkalis or hot liquids, ask us about vinyl ester instead.
