Hip Capping Fiberglass is an FRP (fibreglass reinforced plastic) capping for the hips of a hip roof: the sloping external corners that run from the ridge down to the eaves where two roof faces meet. It covers the cut edges of the roof sheets along each hip so water runs off instead of entering the joint.
Each length is made to order by Y.T. Fibreglass Industries Sdn Bhd, Mui Fatt's manufacturing subsidiary, to suit your roof sheet profile. FRP does not rust, which matters on a hip roof because the hip line is long, sloping and exposed to sun and rain along its whole length.
