FRP sheet piles are fibreglass composite piles driven side by side to form a continuous wall in soil or water. They are used for seawalls, retaining walls, flood walls, erosion control and seepage cut-off. Steel sheet piles corrode and timber is attacked by rot and marine borers; FRP does neither, resists UV and keeps its appearance, so maintenance and replacement are put off for longer.
