The Art of Fiberglass & Polyethylene, Engineered with Innovation and Precision for Lasting Performance.
Updated: 20 October 2026
Mui Fatt Decorative Planter Boxes are planter pots and planter boxes for homes, condominiums, offices, hotels, shopping malls, rooftop podiums and landscape projects in Malaysia. The range is offered in two materials: polyethylene (PE) planter pots and FRP (fibreglass reinforced plastic) planter pots.
PE planter pots are sold as the MF Deco Pot range: four series in 10 sizes, rotomoulded in one piece from UV-rated LLDPE. They are light, do not crack and have drainage holes, which makes them a budget-friendly choice for standard sizes and everyday use.
FRP planter pots cover round pots, tall vases, square and rectangular planter boxes, long troughs and designer shapes, in 48 product pages. Fibreglass is light, strong and does not rust or rot, and FRP planters can be made to a project drawing in your size, shape and colour.
Mui Fatt has made OEM FRP planters for major shopping malls in Malaysia and works with landscape companies and local councils on planter projects, where FRP planters replace ceramic pots that break easily. OEM orders are welcome for both ranges.
Mui Fatt Marketing Sdn Bhd supplies both ranges from Port Klang, Selangor.

The MF Deco Pot range is made by Mui Fatt Industries from UV-rated LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) from Petronas. Each pot is rotomoulded in one piece in a mild steel mould, so it is seamless, with an even wall and no joints to split.
Polyethylene pots weigh far less than clay, ceramic or concrete pots of the same size, so they are easy to place on balconies, rooftops and upper floors. PE bends instead of breaking, so the pots survive knocks, roots and transport. Every pot has drainage holes and can be used indoors or outdoors.

FRP planters are made in glass fibre reinforced resin. They are much lighter than concrete or ceramic planters, yet strong enough for busy public spaces. FRP resists moisture, UV rays and temperature changes, so the planters do not warp, swell or rot in Malaysian sun and rain, and they work indoors and outdoors.
FRP suits tall vases, big planter boxes and long troughs that are too heavy in other materials. The range has two groups: the catalogue series, made in standard sizes, and designer planters with sculptural shapes.

| Customizable Planter Box → | Made to your drawing | Your size, shape and colour |
When a catalogue size will not do, an FRP planter can be made to your drawing in your size, shape and colour, for indoor or outdoor use. A new shape needs a mould, so it is subject to a one-time mould cost. Send us your drawing or sketch with sizes, the quantity, the colour and the site, and we will confirm whether an existing mould fits or a new mould is needed.

PE planter pots are a good choice for low-cost, budget planters. In simple terms, choose PE for light, low-cost pots in standard sizes for homes and small spaces. Choose FRP for tall statement pots, large planter boxes, long troughs and planters made to a project size or design.
PE pots suit house porches, gardens, condominium lobbies and balconies, where a light pot that does not crack is easy to place and move.
Tall FRP pots such as Magna, Ploss and Delta, and designer pots such as Elpis and Herrun, work as statement pieces in lobbies, show units and large indoor spaces. Mui Fatt has supplied OEM FRP planters made to order for major shopping malls in Malaysia.
FRP planters are easier to lift onto rooftops, podiums and upper floors than concrete planters, with less load on the slab. Low, wide bowls such as Magna I suit plazas and podium gardens.
Both ranges are used at restaurants, cafes, and office and hotel entrances, as a single feature pot or in a row.
Mui Fatt works with landscape companies and local councils, who use FRP planters in place of ceramic pots that break easily in public spaces. Landscape contractors use both ranges when they need many pots of one style, and FRP planters are also made to architect-specified sizes for streetscapes and roof gardens.

FRP planters are supplied without plants or soil. Give us your site date early. Delivery of FRP pots does not include unloading, so please arrange manpower on site.
PE planter pots are one-piece rotomoulded plastic pots in standard sizes, while FRP planter pots are fibreglass planters for larger, taller and custom-made designs. The PE range (MF Deco Pot) is the budget-friendly choice for homes, balconies and everyday use, from a 420 mm shallow urn to a 960 mm long trough. The FRP range runs from a 311 mm Ploss pot up to a 1500 mm long Simet planter box and a 1200 mm round bowl, and can be made to a project drawing.
The PE planter pots are made from UV-rated LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) from Petronas. LLDPE bends instead of breaking, so the pots do not crack, chip or break like clay, ceramic or concrete pots.
MF Deco Pots are made by Mui Fatt Industries by rotational moulding (rotomoulding) in one piece. LLDPE powder goes into a mild steel mould that turns on two axes inside an oven, so the melted plastic coats the inside evenly. The pot comes out seamless, with an even wall and no joints to split.
Yes, both the PE and FRP planter pots can be used indoors and outdoors. The PE pots are UV-rated and do not crack. FRP resists moisture, UV rays and temperature changes; outdoors the gloss of an FRP pot may fade naturally over time, and the pot can be cleaned with water and repainted.
Every PE planter pot has drainage holes; on FRP planters, a drainage hole is made on request for the catalogue series and included on most designer pots. For the catalogue series (Magna, Shona, Ploss, Delta, Alpha, Rogu, Round Cylinder, Round Bowl, RAP, Simet and Pin You), tell us when you order. Designer pots such as Nephele, Naix, Nyx, Twista, Broxy, Elpis, Herrun and Vambro come with drainage holes.
PE pots come in 17 standard colours and FRP planters are finished in the colour your project needs. The PE colour chart includes colours such as Terracotta, Beige, Solid White, Black, Grey, Dark Green and Brown, and stone finishes are available at extra cost. FRP planters can be finished in solid gloss, matte or facet stone.
The largest listed planters are in the FRP range: the Simet V planter box at 1500 L x 650 W x 700 H mm and the Round Bowl 1200 at 1200 mm diameter. The tallest catalogue FRP pot is Magna IV at 1118 mm high. In the PE range, the largest pots are the Roman Trough RT 96 (960 mm long) and the Traditional Vase TV 75 (740 mm diameter x 660 mm high).
Yes, FRP planters can be made to your drawing in your size, shape and colour. A new shape needs a mould, so it is subject to a one-time mould cost; if one of the existing sizes is close, we will tell you. PE pots come in the 10 listed sizes; for other sizes, choose an FRP planter.
Yes, the catalogue FRP planters carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects such as cracking. The warranty covers indoor and outdoor use. Damage from handling, scratches or other outside causes is not covered.
No, FRP planters are much lighter than concrete planters of the same size. This makes them easier to lift onto rooftops, podiums and upper floors, with less load on the slab. Soil and water add weight once the pot is filled, so place the pot before filling it.
No, FRP planters are supplied as pots only, without plants or soil. FRP pots are packed in carton and stretch film, and delivery does not include unloading, so please arrange manpower on site.
FRP planters do not shatter like ceramic, so they last longer in busy public spaces. Fibreglass is also much lighter than ceramic or concrete, which makes large planters easier to move and lift onto upper floors. This is why landscape companies and local councils use FRP planters to replace ceramic pots that break easily.
