The primary goal of this initiative is to provide stall owners with well-organized, secure, and comfortable business spaces.

As of the month of July 2023, the Ministry has greenlit 3,173 MyKiosk units to 113 local authorities, allocated RM49.14 million out of RM50 million by the unity government. Already, the initiative has seen the completion of 100 units across five locations: Sepang Municipal Council, Kuala Langat Municipal Council, Kuala Pilah District Council, Seremban City Council, and Port Dickson Municipal Council.

MyKiosk Mission: Building a Brighter Future for Entrepreneurs

MyKiosk operates under the Madani Economy framework, an initiative aimed at empowering the B40 group by creating opportunities for them to establish and run businesses, ultimately improving their quality of life. Minister Nga emphasized that the contributions of small traders are invaluable to the economy and that enhancing the micro-economy has a positive impact on the nation's overall economic health.

One of the significant aspects of the MyKiosk project is the provision of affordable rental rates for the stalls. This approach is geared towards elevating the socio-economic status of traders while creating an environment that is both safe and comfortable for conducting business. Furthermore, the revenue generated from kiosk rentals directly benefits local authorities.
